Our broker's story...

Out of college in 1985, I entered the industry programming a financial calculator and later, designing a basic loan processing CRM for a local San Diego mortgage banker.  I learned the business from the inside out, studying the process and working on ways to streamline and make it more efficient.

​In 1987 I joined a newly formed company and began my career as a retail loan officer, starting my own firm nine years later.   I got in when rates had just dropped down to 15% and I was excited!   Fax machines were the new trend, pagers now had alphanumeric displays and yes, I had a cell phone hard-wired in my Nissan Sentra.  It's amazing how the skill of programming a calculator (for a case of beer no less) can start a lifelong career.

Over the years I have helped thousands of clients and it's been a rewarding journey.  Looking back I have helped the children of my early clients and now their grandchildren.   I have had the honor of seeing those I have helped come back to me over and over, from buying their first home to the final downsizing and getting ready for retirement.   It's an honor I do not take lightly.

I've built my reputation on honesty and trust, helping people choose the best program and terms to meet their needs.  Often I have counseled borrowers not to refinance, as it was not in their best interest.   With me, the needs of the client always come first.

Borrowers today are barraged with information and horror stories of when the market goes bad.   Working through three recessions, I can say with complete confidence the market always comes back and real estate is, and always has been the best long term investment any family can make.  Rest assured my team and I will help you finance that home purchase so that it's affordable and manageable.   We will guide you through the process, answer all your questions striving to exceed your expectations in every way possible.
